It's a great honor for us Giordano Mozzi's decision to participate at the Brera Touring Cup as a VIP Testimonial, driving the Alfa Romeo Stelvio peace-car. A few months ago an article about Giordano and Stefania in the magazine GRACE defined them "The Champions of the Four Continents", due to the fact that "except for improbable denials, they are the only ones who competed and won almost every race in four different continents, Europe, America, Asia and Australia". The article was, in some way, a good omen for the success achieved in Australia at the "Targa Florio - Australian Tribute" on December 2018 (showed in the picture), a competition that saw them compete in the Supercars Trophy category with an Alfa Romeo 4C. GRACE continued by recalling that "Giordano and Stefania have more than 100 victories to their credit and they have risen to the podium (both in regularity and rally races) over 200 times, with the privilege of racing and preceded by their fame, in many races around the globe". Among the Italian races, it is a must to mention the two great victories at the Mille Miglia, with a 1933 Aston Martin Le Mans in 2011, and with a 1928 Lancia Lambda Spider Casaro in 2014.
When the news of Giordano and Stefania's willingness to participate at the Brera Touring Cup was shared in an informal way within the Organizing Team, a great emotion and joy pervaded everyone.
We already knew Giordano and Stefania for their collaboration in the organization of a regularity course for our passionate Breristi and we had already had the opportunity to appreciate their professionalism, great enthusiasm and huge human knowledge other than their competitive experience.
The two great champions will be in Verona at the beginning of the Touring Cup and they will lead the car that will play the role of peace-car during the three days of the event. We are eager to meet again and sit with them at the Gala Dinner on Saturday 25th in Kranjska Gora, and to end the event with them in Gorizia with the final awards. We will interview them and we will show you fragments of their epic victories, so we will spend with them moments of great emotion that surely will be placed among the important memories. -
Un grandissimo onore la decisione di Giordano Mozzi di partecipare alla Brera Touring Cup come VIP Testimonial, alla guida dell'Alfa Romeo Stelvio peace-car. "I campioni dei Quattro Continenti" li definiva qualche mese fa un articolo a loro dedicato sulla rivista GRACE, in considerazione del fatto che, "salvo improbabili smentite, sono gli unici ad aver gareggiato e quasi sempre vinto in ben quattro continenti, Europa, America, Asia e Australia". L'articolo era, in qualche modo, di buon auspicio per la vittoria successivamente conseguita in Australia alla "Targa Florio - Australian Tribute" del dicembre 2018 (nella fotografia), competizione che li ha visti gareggiare nella categoria Supercars Trophy con una Alfa Romeo 4C. Continuava GRACE ricordando che "Giordano e Stefania hanno al loro attivo oltre 100 vittorie e sono saliti sul podio (n.d.r. sia di gare di regolarità che di Rally) oltre 200 volte con il privilegio di correre, preceduti dalla loro fama, in molte gare che si sono disputate all'estero". È d'obbligo citare invece, tra le gare Italiane, le due grandi vittorie alla Mille Miglia, nel 2011 con una Aston Martin Le Mans del 1933 e nel 2014 con un Lancia Lambda Spider Casaro del 1928. Quando la notizia della volontà di Giordano e Stefania di partecipare alla Brera Touring Cup è stata condivisa in via ancora informale all'interno del Team Organizzativo, una grande emozione e gioia ha pervaso tutti.
Conoscevamo già Giordano e Stefania per aver collaborato all'organizzazione di un corso di Regolarità per i nostri appassionati Breristi e avevamo già avuto modo di apprezzare la loro professionalità, il grande entusiasmo e l'enorme bagaglio umano e di esperienza agonistica. I due grandi campioni saranno a Verona per la partenza della Touring Cup e condurranno la vettura che svolgerà il ruolo di apricolonna e safety-car per tutti e tre i giorni della manifestazione. Siamo impazienti di ritrovarci e sedere con loro per la serata e Cena di Gala di Sabato 25 Maggio a Kranjska Gora e di chiudere con loro l'evento a Gorizia con le premiazioni finali. Li intervisteremo e proietteremo frammenti delle loro epiche vittorie e passeremo con loro momenti di grande emozione, sicuramente da riporre tra i ricordi importanti.
